Reviews of Diamondback Vital Two Women's Comfort Hybrid Bike (700c Wheels)
1.) Excellent Bike for the Money

I had been looking at the Diamondback Serene Citi Comfort bike but decided to go with the Vital 2, primarily because of the aluminum frame (the Serene Citi has a steel frame and is heavier). The Vital 2 also has the "click" shifters instead of twist shifters, which I think is a real plus. The bike is nimble and well-balanced, and I like the easy-on easy-off ability due to the step-through frame. I haven't ridden a bike in several years, so needed something I could feel confident on in a short period of time. I'll end up replacing the seat with a gel seat but other than that this is a really nice bike at an affordable price.
2.) It's not a depatment store bike, but it's pretty close.

It's built well and all around we like it. I'm not sure if it's worth the $300 we paid for it. It's more like a cruiser bike than a Mt Bike although they call it a hybrid. It does come in a lot of pieces and you may think about just bringing it to a bike shop and pay them to put it together and tune it because the gears aren't in sync. The one thing that bothers me the most is that the thing did not come with a kick stand. I mean really? a cruiser bike without a kick stand. That's just rediculous.
